Onward to New Devices

I used to love my Sony Touch, but the clarity of text and glare issues were something that have become a problem for me. While I was resistant for a while due to a lot of the surrounding hype, on a closer look, the Kindle seems to be the best option for an e-ink ereader. It has the most features and the clearest text that I’ve seen on the brands I’ve bought or taken for a test drive. I prefer having a touch screen, but there are drawbacks to that in an e-ink device. And even though the new Kobo & Nook touch devices are at a seemingly good price point, they come at a cost of reduced features that I wasn’t willing to deal with. And I couldn’t resist getting a Kindle 3 for under $20 including one-day shipping. I should have it in my eager hands by tomorrow afternoon. I’m an audiobook fan anyway, so signing up for Audible was worth it.
